Many chinese historical wuxia story often depict the gong, erhu, gu zheng, bells, dizi, cymbals, guqin, trumpet, pipa, sheng (similar to panflute). But in wuxia drama and film, these musical instruments are seldom and almost never appeared. Probably because they are not easily obtained, not portable, and not romantic enough.

The soul and pith of Chinese Wuxia spirit is justice,integrity, humility, and scarification. However, it cannot be lively and flesh,and blood or even complete enough to be almost real if it does not replete with its own and unique music motifs or forms. I believe the music for my Wuxia society should be powerful enough to demonstrate and imply the soul of this world. What kind of music could fleshly demonstrate the soul and the spirits of Wuxia and this society? I think no matter what tune I use for my theme motifs, what instruments I apply for my music or even what musical forms should be evolved in, one goal should be achieved at all the time. The artistic mood is the soul of the music in this Wuxia society.
